在Eclipse中配置并使用Tomcat服务器，主要步骤如下：

打开Eclipse后，进入Window > Preferences > Server > Runtime Environments，点击右侧的Add按钮。选择需要配置的Tomcat版本，这里以Tomcat 8.0.53为例。点击Next后，选择Apache Tomcat v8.0并完成配置。

在Eclipse的控制台中，打开Servers视图。点击右侧的New，选择Server，然后选择Apache类型，选择之前配置的Tomcat实例，完成添加。

双击配置好的服务器名称，进入Tomcat的管理界面，根据需要配置服务器设置。

对于较大项目，可以在Tomcat的配置文件中调整启动时间，避免因超时导致错误。

最后，将需要部署的项目添加到Tomcat服务器上。在服务器的右侧菜单中选择Add and Remove，添加项目到Tomcat上即可完成部署。
